It makes no difference who has skin in the game to post opinions/speculations about the given facts to date.
Eric did give a 90 day window then retracted it in a follow up blog when asked for clarity.
And now today he's even gone so far as to admit that he's still just trying to "identify" financiers.
The thing about the blogs is they always sound so wonderful when they're 1st thrown out there...but weeks/months later they're looked back upon as nothing more than carrots because the majority of the time the expectations created never mesh with the eventual reality.
The pattern has been established going all the way back to 5 years ago when the home depot was pr'd and the PR contained a line about "expecting to be granted a USA national account soon" or some chit like that...yet here we are over 5 years later with no home depot usa national account just like the lowes is imminent fiasco of 3 years ago or the 3 national account bs of last year at this time etc etc etc
