Does anyone know if comparing Bavi trials to Avastin is not really viable? What if Peregrine decided to compare with Avastin in their trials and Avastin's number from Peregrine is higher relatively?
Putting it again hopefully to make it easier to understand:
Avastin's original results = not comparable with hypothetical Bavituximab vs Avastin done by PPHM
GO COMPARE THE AVASTIN CONTROL ARM (4.5 Months based on 444 patients) then average our results with the other trial (6.1 months) (6.1+5.8)/2=5.95 5.95/4.5=32% only 5% less than avastin with better safty
bad thing is this played right into the hands of institutions cause someone is buyin them up
Maybe someone should start thinking about the credibility of the Avastin trial data. Having their control arm be lower than actual could only have helped the avastin case. Avastin doesn't seem to be doing all that well after it was approved. Maybe the reasons are starting to show as to why. MCTO
