Hahhhhaha - that's hilarious (well, only because I didn't buy any at a buck.)

Amazing how the exact same nonsense just keeps echoing back year after year. Your experience exactly mirrors the wonderful EEGC Rights Offering from 2010 at 7 cents a share...

You know... The one that Mal said he'd use his $50 million personal line of credit to complete?

http://sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/788206/000107878209001619/empire8k10162009ex991.htm

I personally have undertaken a loan of US $50 Million that should be available to me once the SEC approves our rights offering. I intend to take up my full allotment of shares and any additional shares that our shareholders do not elect to exercise.

You know... the one that EEGC then claimed was "over subscribed?" (they also promised "being listed on the full NASDAQ" but that's a separate issue)

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/empire-rights-offering-closes-over-subscribed-new-directors-invited-to-join-board-re-listing-process-started-100326259.html

The USD$9.8 million rights offering had officially closed and was over-subscribed.

An unexpected number of eligible shareholders worldwide took up additional shares while CEO Malcolm Bendall honored his prior pledge to purchase all unsubscribed shares

LOL. "PURCHASE?" As if! Because that's the deal where all he actually did was pay himself $21 million worth of stock for the rights to "Flare Gas Technology" - which doesn't seem to actually exist, and which hasn't yet contributed ONE CENT of revenue to EEGC?

Here's another key line from that same 2010 filing:

substantial capital investments have been promised that are expected to be adequate to complete our entire drilling program.

Amazing. All those filings, all those "expectations" and yet.. zero actual funding, zero actual rigs, zero actual progress. The past is truly prologue when it comes to EEGC.

Oily,

Let the past stay in the past. Investors can be found anywhere at anytime. Say, Korea and say NOW....

Regardless of all opinions, just get the drill in the ground and let's have at it. $1 a share you say? no $2? Sounds about right, the moment oils is hit say $5 no say $10

2005 was not the peak of oil prices. We are seeing a repeat of 2008. April 2nd is fast approaching and PPS has been popping past .02.......

Secret sources say big guns have landed in Hobart and drills are being readied.........
