sometimes getting permits in sensitive areas, such as running creeks, wildlife preserves, etc, can and do often take some time. just going off of my personal experience in alaska. this could possibly take a little longer, but its definitely worth holding onto. the federal entities are much faster than the state entities are. again, my personal experience in pulling permits on properties that have mineral rights.
