Boston Celtics basketball star Paul Pierce has agreed a one-year endorsement deal with Attitude Drinks. Pierce, an NBA All-Star for the ninth time in 2011, will appear in advertisements and at promotional events for Attitude Drinks' Phase III Recovery Drink. The 34-year-old will also use the partnership to raise funds and awareness for his charitable foundation, The Truth, which promotes exercise and a healthy diet among young people.
Pierce said: "I'm excited to work with Attitude to promote healthy living and exercise. Phase III is an excellent product to associate with the Truth Fund and I'm happy the company will support my efforts to inspire kids to embrace fitness and healthy eating."
Attitude Drinks chief executive Roy Warren added: "It's an honour to partner with such an accomplished and cause-oriented athlete. Paul is a proven role model and we're delighted to support his Truth on Health Campaign and other Truth Fund initiatives."
