Sanddollar: not ignoring your advice,but I believe around '91or'92 I wanted to switch to a Roth IRA. At that time the requirement were that you had to have job in a company that was set up for ,IRA's. Once set up you could consolidate your regular IRA. The tax adviser laid it out ,for me.I forget the actual requirements.
I know it just was not my wishes to unretire, and as I said, I only pay taxes when I take my distribution.
There is no question but if CDEX was at,hoped for, value I would have to take more money in distribution,but one can't have everything.
