Git I have a hard enough time with the basics..LOL..But I actually do see what your talking about in your chart..

Very good read on the TDI there Git. I look for the same thing. The yellow market baseline makes an extreme low or high and then the price action reverses temporarily. But then the price action will pick back up in the direction it was headed in originally. But when it makes a new high or low in price, the market base line will show a divergence.

Love that indicator.
