#525 RE: gp100357 #524

Wrong again, gp. The point is that Obama (like Bush before him) is not responsible for the cost of gas. That is what I posted to start this conversation, and I generously did so in terms I thought you might be able to understand, i.e. as explained by Greta Van Sustern, Bill O'Reilly and a host of other friends of Fox. You somehow tried to turn that into proof of a lack of character on my part, and in an extremely feeble attempt to prove that liberals are liars, you quote Keith Olberman explaining that Bush was not responsible for sky-rocketing prices during his administration, that it was due to the actions of speculators.

The point is that you and all your brethren on this thread are going to be screaming about how Obama is responsible for the price of gas. bbotc has already stated in exactly so many words that Obama wants gas to run up to $10 per gallon. What? I would ask him why in the world he would think Obama would want gas prices to go up but I know that he would reply with an answer that I would just have to characterize as just plain stupid -- Obama wants to destroy America, he wants to take our freedom away, he's a European socialist, he's a Muslim, because George Soros would get rich if it did. Etc ad nauseum.

So I am asking you gp, bbotc, and that other right-wing reactionary who posts here, do you believe that Obama is responsible for current gas prices and the higher gas prices that are inevitable over the summer despite all of Fox's friends -- along with keith Olberman no less -- saying otherwise?

Do you believe he is or not?
