Basically you have potentially violated the UIGEA law by using a U.S. credit card to transfer funds to a foreign bank for what may be an illegal gambling activity depending on the state laws where you live.

Oh yes and the DoJ "softening their stance" is not a change in law and is subject to a different interpretation with the next Attorney General.

The only way it will really be legal is when all of the states and eventually the Federal Gov. actually pass a clear enforceable law that allows online gambling under controlled circumstances.

That is why the casinos are pushing all of the states and feds to pass legislation because they don't want to invest in infrastructure only to have the next AG/DoJ close them down.
