IMO ANTS is not a "real" Pincher Play. It could be deemed an ugly pincher because ADX\PPO are converging but its not a smooth symmetrical arcing towards each other, and that is what I like to see.
But... your analysis of the ANTS chart is excellent. If you are a beginner at T/A then u r a very fast learner LOL
The resistance points u pointed out are exactly what I would consider the "key" resistance points. I use moving averages on 60 minute, daily, and weekly charts and also the bollinger bands. I also use previous candles, but unless there has been alot of volume at those previous candles, I lean more towards the moving averages.
As for entry, its already an "early" buy IMO and if it upticks at open tomorrow it will probably be a "confirmed" buy.
As for predetermined goals, I don't use % gain. My potential sell targets are at those resistance points u already pointed out. How I determine whether the candle will break above or not is usually by looking at Level II and seeing if there is alot of ASK slapping or BID whacking at that resistance price. I also look at volume on a 10 and 60 minute chart. If there is alot of volume and the stock cant break thru that resistance, then that is not a good signal for continuation.
as for selling if the stock doesn't trend up at open like we expect it to do, then ideally 0.008 should hold and 0.007 absolutely, positively needs to hold or I would exit the stock. We buy because we think its primed to trend up, so if it dips right outta the gate, that not a good signal.
