I wonder if they'll think turning plastic into #6 oil is a good idea? NYC doesn't think so:

Can you PLEASE!!!! provide a link that states exclusively that NYC exclusively is banning or stated in any way it is not a good idea for turning plastic into JBI #6 fuel.

RU kidding?, NY is waiting for JBII low sulfur # 6 P2O fuel oil!

And guess what?, as heard in the CC....if #6 fuel oil gets banned in its entirety, JBII will produce # 5 fuel oil, end of story on #6 fuel oil.

Amazing how little of that post has to do with JBI's plastic sourced #6 fuel oil.

In fact that NY rule will have the effect of creating additional markets for JBI's #6 since it doesn't produce the pollution that NYC is trying to eliminate.

Here is real information of JBI's #6 with a comparison to crude oil derived #6.

Crude oil derived #6 fuel oil is the dregs of the crude oil processing business. It contains high levels of sulfur, water, dirt, and heavy metals.

JBI produced #6 fuel oil DOES NOT CONTAIN high levels of sulfur, water, dirt or heavy metals.

For example.... #6 from crude oil is considered low sulfur if it contains 1500ppm of sulfur.

#6 from JBI contains a MAXIMUM of 30 ppm of sulfur. It contains 98% less sulfur.

Please see the chart below to appreciate the vast improvement JBI's plastic derived fuel oil is over crude oil derived #6.

Low sulfur #6 commands a significant price premium over regular #6 fuel oil. In fact it gets a premium over #2 at the NY docks.

It is very clear that JBI's #6 is a much higher quality product.
