He has been mute since his appointment.

I guess I hadn't really expected the reciever to be proactive in communicating with the shareholders in the first place. He's got a job to do (for the court, not for us) and he doesn't really have to make information public at this stage if there is nothing material to make public.

Essentially he is the only real corporate insider at this point. Anything he would have to say needs to be weighed against our need for a speedy (relatively) and honest resolution to our wind-down.

Off the cuff statements would be similar to leaking unofficial corporate details and could influence his and our outcome here.

Must admit though,... I am weighing the merits of trying to buy more shares,... I really don't see how the post-liquidation result here is less than $0.02/share.
