It does take time to switch .. Thats for sure .. Especially if you have capital tied into other more valuable trades. I can see where someone would take awhile to do it. Might not be worth it. I have learned my lesson though. That is why I have more than one trading account.

Actually, I'm moving my holdings from T.D. Ameritrade to Fidelity, and I gave T.D. Ameritrade a verbal ass-kicking before resorting to the transfer. I would bet MANY other ATTD (and similarly situated stocks) investors ARE running to switch brokers! ATTD will be far too big and too successful to let this pissant pink sheet crap tie it down. Indeed, when ATTD uplists to the AMEX or NASDAQ, this DTCC issue will lie far behind in the dust of ATTD's success!

I have switched to etrade, and they offered me free 300 trades for 3 months plus reimbursement for wire transfer. Wise thing would be to let your shares in TDA sit and sell on the rise. They have poor charting for sub-pennies on some aspects. Glad I've made the switch although I still use their thinkorswim platform to compliment ET's pro platform.
