"I feel so dumb asking this, but it is in regards to oxygen and flammability. I always thought of oxygen as a flammable gas, but the textbook says that "oxygen is not a flammable gas-it does not burn."

Ummmmm....how can you weld if you're NOT near tanks with dangerous gases.......lol.....What would you call O2 and Acetylene?....Which 2 nasty and BAD BAD gasses are combined in a flame torch to make a blue tip...z
