Not sure but it seems that has kept my bid off the radar in the past with some other stocks. I think the 5000 number depends on the share price and some other factors. Not really sure if it applies to IFSL. As far as getting pinged. It was explained to me, by my broker, that a MM might try to match up bid/ask within their own company first rather than go outside to fill an order. It happened to me once with IFSL and kind of ticked me off. Consider that sometimes it also happens in your favor as well. Not as much for me but it has happened.
