My guess is that the letter was specifically written to be posted on investor websites to damage NeoMedia by a competitor to NeoMedia.

Frank's current company:

None of it was "company information" and nobody was an insider.

Frank is unlikely to be under NDA since the company for which he worked was dissolved last September.

All of it is sordid, but it isn't anything more than that. IMHO.
