W2P... More than interesting for me. That article clearly shows the extreme complexity of physical traits and the power of DNAG's ADMIXMAP discovery platform to find them...
Until DNAG's research, there were only 2 genes known for pigmentation color. The table in the article shows the multiple numerous genes associated with pigmentation found since DNAG started it's work.
I like the photos of the iris too. They show a great example of the range of eye color spectrum that's possible (and indirectly hinting at the genes responsible for any particular color/tint). The eye color test alone is unique and innovative, but the eye photos are critical reference points for understanding the test results. It's no wonder DNAG is putting so much effort into collecting more and more photos for their forensics and ancestry databases...
It's a short but very informative article on DNAG's cutting edge science and the complexity of physical traits, something others STILL have not discovered (and the scary thing is that after 5 years of reading and learning, I finally think I understand the science of it...lol!).
