Yes, I follow the Brown Dense Smackover Play & the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale Play, almost daily. I made giant maps (electronic) & keep up with the exploration wells drilled on the maps. I'm in the slow process of staring an independent oil & gas company & my plans are to identify behind pipe pay in abandoned wells that are situated in areas that the Brown Dense or Tuscaloosa Play will potential extend into, as the plays develop & technology allows. That way I can establish production & sit on it until the lease value skyrockets...

Encana is getting 800 BOPD out of TMS Horizontals
Southwestern Energy started producing their 2nd Brown Dense Smackover Horizontal Friday the 17th (i think) at 100 BOPD and expect to slowly increase the production up to 500 BOPD. This well was drilled to learn as much as possible about the science behind this layer of the Smackover. If I don't have my well mixed up, this 500 BOPD will only come from 3 frac stages, they are are going to produce & study for a while, then re-enter & frack the next interval of the horizontal using a different completions technique & study the production, & repeat until the entire lateral is frac'ed... Pretty smart strategy if you ask me...
