I am betting on both gold and MMJ, playing GDSM and CBIS as a parlay with the guns ARTX and SWHC as an insurance policy. Sir, that whole "cop out" thing, talk to the four doctors who are independently verifying this is the safest medication for me to be using for long term pain from the injury I sustained in Haiti as a peacekeeper, not Iraq or Afghanistan as a terrorist killer or oil hound. And I did it for a Pre-9/11 GI Bill with a 0% disability determination so I don't get one cent, just the honor of knowing I did my job, and I listen to doctors, not fellow Marines for my medical treatment. As far as your moral hang up with MMJ, get over it along with any moral hangup you have about women or gay's serving in the military as well. My father is a permanently disabled US Army Officer, retired stock broker/CPA, and the chaplain at a four year college in New Jersey that isn't private or community; if my father and mother wholly endorse and support the Veterans Administration's disposition with the use of MMJ while under the supervision of a licensed physician, then honestly sir, you need to check your fire because it's friendly. Take a look at the research, I am not smoking "weed", I use a non alcoholic Cannabis THC/CDC tincture out of a eye-dropper on my tongue. I have no idea what you are talking about "smoking weed". I'm not at the junior highschool smoking with dirt schwag with Leroy and Tyler playing craps while sippin gin and rollin blunts pal. I'm a 37 year old college educated Marine who also served in the Army, and has worked for 20 years now as a social worker helping people with addiction to harmful narcotics and alcohol find jobs in the harshest environments of Newark, Camden, and Trenton. There is a big difference between a person going to a doctor, being prescribed a medicine and using it accordingly, and the image of a kid rollin blunts that you cite as the "weed smoker" you think I am. You're wrong. I bet right now there are strong drugs in your bathroom cabinet. I know marines who would pop 3-4 codienes before every Saturday hump with the company gunny, come back to French Creek and guzzle a bottle of Jack, case of beer, two packs of Marlboro's and a tin of Skoal, wake up in the morning and pop 4 mini-thins (speed) and puke their way through morning PT....Oh, and those were the "role models"...born in the woods and raised by bear types....hate to break it to you, but we're a different generation of veterans. We went to school, we graduated from college before getting our Corporal's stripe, and most of us have more communication power in the palm of our hands than the President of the United States had in 1963 with all the Armies in the world. I pray you educate yourself about the difference this medicine is making in people's lives. The stigma and scapegoating of MMJ users needs to end. I haven't used an analgesic, narcotic, or any drug for that matter in years. I have a lot of enlisted friends and some LDO's who still have that mentality of thinking you are displaying which is natural; you were programmed to hate and kill the enemy, and you were programmed to think people who smoke a nonlethal green vegtable that both the Book of Genesis tells us is a "green plant for food", and the Book of Matthew, Jesus tells us that "what makes a man unclean is what comes out of his mouth, not what goes in it"
