It has nothing to do with brokerages. If someone is counterfeiting your shares, and you have proof, it's a fiduciary responsibility to try and stop it. If the company had provided proof to the SEC and DOJ of the crime and nothing was done, I'd be in agreement with you. But to ignore it or not make the effort to make copies of brokerage statements at the shareholder meeting or to have your T/A supply the information to prove the ? Sounds like a major disservice to the company and all the shareholders.
