Anyone with a lick of common sense would understand the rules set fourth by the SEC refering to paid promotions and disclosure are exactly as implied. If you recieve compensation for the purpose of promoting a stock you must disclose such information.
I have no idea if they're being paid or not .. its not about them it's about .. anyone doing it .. and what will happen to them if they are .. without disclosure
btw, there have been quite a few CEO's involved in illegal penny stock promotions and charged by the SEC...
taking things for granted , because someone said something or voiced an opinion( especially on a message board or a blog ) is not very wise
