I agree, Mr Thompson has shown poor management/PR skills. In hindsight, many might excuse as ´simple´ mistakes. PR101 - ´If you´re not sure you can fulfill your word, don´t put it public´. ´Under promise, over perform´. Simply adding the word ´tentative´ could of saved him.
If he´s any bit concerned about investor confidence (he should be, that´s a responsiblity he assumed by putting the company public) and has any common sense, he has to make some public statement in the 3 days that are left in FEB. I´m anxious to see what Mr. Thompsons made of.........From his performance for the last three months, I don´t have high expectations.
