Makes complete sense to me. I would probably be impatient as well. I have a career outside of the market, but nothing is guaranteed in this world. So, playing the market is one of my ways of securing my financial freedom in the event of a lay off or something like that. Having been in your position 2 years ago, I defenetely want to be prepared for when it happens again.
