Tinroad ...

Thanks for your response and the info. I believe e.Digital is working on Bluetooth applications as well, but whether or not they involve cell phones is a whole `nother story, IMHO. I`m afraid at this point in time, I`m still inclined to call our participation in this potentially HUGE market a long shot, but I sure wouldn`t mind being pleasantly surprised to find out differently !!

I would just like to say that over the past few years I`ve always respected your knowledge, insight and opinions. If you don`t mind, I would appreciate it you would take a look at my previous post concerning EDIG`s potential role in the video device market. It would be nice to hear from someone of your understanding that my assessment is plausible, or at least in the ballpark ... after all, who can really know for sure where this rocky road will lead us !?!

Also, ...

"The company [PortalPlayer]is now shipping technology platforms for hard-disk-equipped jukeboxes, and is ideally positioned to capture market share in this very hot product category. With the closing of a strong funding round in a still-difficult environment, we will solidify a leadership role in digital audio and accelerate development of next generation still and motion video-capable systems."

... do you have any thoughts that our association with PortalPlayer might extend to video applications ? For some reason I can`t help but think that while they seem to have the most popular platform for the MP3/WMA HDD jukebox market, they might be just a little bit envious of our ASIC video solution !?!

Thanks again
