I am not sure but based on the thickness (thinness) it could make a coating for cylinder liners that would lubricate the rings without oil. Based on it's chemical makeup and molecular structure it appears to have oil like properties. I am thinking nano ceramic and diamond dust make act similarly also. This is all based on non scientific hunches that require testing. I expect Cyclone to employ many improvements over time as new materials become available. That is of course if they get in to a production situation.
