#681 RE: netwire #680

We will see this summer and in the future if REALLY EU wants to help Greece. It is a race for both. Greece has to try to fix all the bad stuff and don't quit, EU has to support Greece till the end and not come out and say "OK, now we are prepared for Greece's default. Let Greece default."

The link doesn't say the whole truth. The easiest way to lie is to use statistics and not the whole statistics. Just parts of the table. This is what that link does.
For example the average wages and pensions, not just the minimum and the maximum, are much lower in Greece than the average in Eurozone. Better not take Germany as an example here. That is why you take 80% and not 46% of the salary as pension. Someone who was getting 700-1000 euros for all his life, he never had the chance to put enough cash in the bank or/and maybe have and a second pension from the private sector. He can't survive with 46% of that 700 or even 1000 euros a month.
And off course 14 times low wages is worst than 12 times good wages. Now it is more like 12 bad wages but off course it is fair because it is the normal 12.

Last just for info the Greek dept from 1960 until 2010

where you see what looks like PASOK with latins is George Papandreu's political party, N.D. is Samara's political party. The part from 1970-1974 is dictatorship.
