New Tronox has no stake in the settlements of Kerr Mcgee and Anadarko with the US Gov't, EPA etc. This was a condition of releasing Tronox from all maters so they could get approval and move forward out of bankruptcy. All or most claims were dropped from responsibilities for Tronox except for a fund set up as additional relief insurance. What I would find really unacceptable is for the senior management teams involved to get out scott free from these proceedings and it looks to me like this will happen.
