So if person #1 is selling his car and asking for $1,000 and someone bought it for $1K ........ thats a BUY.

If person #2 has someone walk up to him and offer $750 for the same type of car and the owner takes the cash, (selling at market price I guess) thats a SELL.

Would the volume for the day be recorded as $1,750 ?

Buys $1,000
Sells $750
