Whoa, hang on there.

I never said I fear them other than the fact they are trained liars. I've never had a bad encounter. Untruthful, but not bad.

I once dated a former lady cop who was so twisted she tried to check me out, found nothing so attempted to use that old, "I know about you, so confess" crap on me. I remember looking at her like she was insane and saying, "What the hell are you talking about." which completely flustered her, at which she admitted rather sheepishly she had done a check, come with zero and so was trying to fish. I laughed. But not long after that I told her to "piss off". She was clearly warped. I never knew cops did such things. My experience far more limited. But no one needs that kind of craziness in their lives. That's damn near paranoia.

I grew up in a place where cops were still public servants and we trusted them.

This HAS changed over the years as the multitudes of YouTube videos of cop violence on the general public attest to.
