Let's revisit one fact that really cannot be debated...

Despite whatever arguability there is over what game/changer has said in the past, he has been inexorably correct about what has ended up being near complete shareholder wealth devaluation.

We only invest for the money, not for being right about peoples' morals or intent involved, so...

For all intents and purposes, it really doesn't matter WHY.

The money matters, and evidently, the money is gone.
