Are you trying to rub it in? Good up and down day, wish I could participate. If I bought more shares now at 17ish to add to my of core of 5K shares and sold today. Fidelity takes the larger gain, and sells the shares I have at 14.05 and 14.42. In the end it washes out, but I would rather leave the lower cost basis alone.

CNBC just said something about some countries lifting their no short sale ban and that those banks are on their way down.
I could look at this as good or bad for TVIX...
Good is the possibility of their banks falling might create a chain reaction with banks across the world OR
Those shorting our banks because they couldn't short those banks might cover here and go short there. I have no clue but I'm feeling good enough so far as this thing MOVES QUICK!!! I've still got my 'core' I bought under 14.10 and added my 'flippers' 3 bucks cheaper than I'd sold them. I need margin to use the money unless I sell other plays but there are events coming that says to hold those too and if TVIX goes close to my first purchase, I will double down and flip bigger positions. Those who can day trade with their account have found a GEM here with TVIX. Good luck everybody. :-D

There are some here that help to create a floor for the traders to bounce off of. In time it will probably rise to higher levels as the floor gets more 'solid' I'm playing with change compared to many posting here but I still hold my 'core' as some do also. Many are adding more as I did too which raises the floor and gives us a higher PPS to profit later. :-D
I know in BPAX many complain about the traders, but the reality is it made the stock go over 100% in a shorter amount of time. TVIX went 50% in 3 days!!! I welcome the ups and downs as it makes this FUN to watch between my other plays. =P
