I think having a margin account and a day trading account might be 2 different things ? I know they have the 25K rule for day trading or used to.. but they allow up to 4 round trips in 5 day period..so if your careful and selective.. you can keep it under the 4. a round trip is buying and selling in the same day.. If you bought today and sold the next am.. that's not a round trip. So I do a lot of that.. lol.. I think margin level is 2K.. though.. Idk.. I'm sure all that info would be on there web sight..
