There are reasons both good and bad for a kblb CC.

The same (bad) reasons are used by both zincfinger and stock watch alert. And that is predicting HUGE news to be announced JUST BECAUSE a cc was announced. It gives them something to point towards, a date, something that says HOLD your shares until that date, don't sell until you hear what Kim has to say. Meanwhile (as in june 2011) Those behind the pump nuke the market with a horde of shares while telling you to keep waiting.

The good reasons for a CC are simple: you get to hear the CEO be on record explaining things.. but never is a CC used to announce huge news. Most companies use CC's to go over earnings.

So yeah you are on point

Everyone already knows that both a commercial deal and pure spider silk are the goals. So why not wait until those goals are accomplished and then PR them. A CC will only tell us the goals, which have been the same since the last CC.

If I had a nickel for every time someone said that nothing new comes out of CC's or shareholder meetings..... In other words, CC's can only talk more in depth about events that have already transpired. Do not expect new developments in a CC...ever....for any stock. If there is new information, then they have to put the market on notice. A simultaneous news release is required by law.

Kim needs to work on public speaking. These will and do help to develop those skills. Kim will eventually have to speak with the big boys. It will be easier once there are fewer company secrets. I think that is why Kim um's and uh's so much. Lawyers are generally well spoken, but when you are a lawyer AND a CEO, then you have to really be self aware. Not easy on the fly. He does alright, just needs to do it more often for proficiencies sake.

Nope. We have a list of questions, because it is old news? I think it is because we are seeking new information on what has been publicly released already.

CC's are not for rehashing goals. Off the top of my head, the last CC revealed they were looking to produce a new platform technology. How soon we forget?
