Shares are guaranteed. Cash is not. Distribution of shares will happen within the first few weeks after the Effective Date. (If I remember correctly, the Plan calls for distribution to start within 14 days.) If there is to be cash distribution, it's at the end of the line, so it probably won't happen until after any assets which have to be liquidated can be liquidated... so my estimate is 3-6 months+, if ever. (They are set to make distributions once per quarter.)
