Panda i didn't mean that ASCOM would compete against NVEI.
I just wanted to point out, that if Ascom can transmit with 20Mbit/sec over power lines, it should be much easier for NVEI to do 52Mb/sec over phone lines.

Panda, Good point. I know Siemens recently scrapped plans on a similar system as they were having problems with the routers among other things.

Needless to say, they decided to turn their efforts towards DSL over copper wiring.

If ASCOM claimed 2mbps then probably those 2mbps has to be shared by all the users on the same line just like cable. IMO

Nice tech but not to compare with NVEI
