It seems you guys shot yourself in the foot. Many have now blocked all the ads for the sake of the "T" bar. I sure hope E-Trade compensates for the loss.

You harm us.

You ask us not to respond while you take your time removing the harm.
Seems offensive to me.
We pay for the privilege of not being deluged with ads. Then you choose to attach an ad and ask us not to delete it. This is not the way to serve paying customers.
I've minimized.

FWIW... I minimized it and it does not bother me.
If that's the worse thing that happens to me on the internet, I suspect I'll get over it.

BTW, there was an IHub trade offer spam email in my email box tonight. I now have a new filter that sends anything similar straight to discard.

idk why, but i just read through the whole t-button discussion thread (and am now filled with some odd positive encouragement re: ihub community)

i say 'idk why' because (even though i hated the big moving purple square t-button when it kept popping up on its own, between views) it didnt really bother me after a couple of days of it staying minimized to some degree. maybe my monitor is too big or or maybe i needed a break or maybe its because i have an e*trade account (which will likely never be connected directly to ihub, no offense). but i digress.

reading through all of the points i see others really get annoyed with some of this stuff. like, extremely way too annoyed.

in all honesty, ads overall dont bother me much unless they are non-stop and aggressively invasive. the time i recently went without a paid ihub account didnt produce even the slightest hint of nuisance.

and this thread is a prime example why. a strong knit community of traders and investors working together in order to exchange their viws on relative ideas. or 'facts'. depending on your view. ;-)
