I 100% AGREE!!! If we lowered our energy costs here we would also slow inflation and thusly the effects of that would benefit all! And you nailed it right on the head! That allows us to compete in the global economy against the cheap labour markets. Low energy costs would bolster BOTH our countries and yes, selling to China would be shooting the US in the foot. It would give China the cheaper energy.
