They "promised" COSTCO, but I checked on costco.com the other day.....NADA. They promised a Nationwide TV campaign but it is only a regional "test" for a measly week on just a few stations. A "dip your toe in the water" PR, not the "big splash" everyone wanted. The ASK has been LOWER than the last trade just about all day, people slapping the ASK are getting crushed..... :-(
Harrington will want to evaluate these results, if they are poor, who knows, they could pull the plug on spending anymore $$ on promoting a product that doesn't sell well. It is a possibility.....that is their money and they have the experience to know if more $$ is justified for further promotion. JMHO
