I'm more concerned with making my wife proud of me than getting the new house but if we do make enough were going to get some more land. It would be nice to have a hundred acres and live far enough off of the road that we could pretend that we were the only people in the forest.
In my current situation I have a choice of paying off half of our land or dumping another $7000 in to AVOP. I'm really wanting to buy more AVOP but if I lose what we have invested it won't matter, another 7 grand might help my wife to lose confidence in me. I don't think that is worth the extra risk.
