on a board that has little traffic and very little interest .. 2 who do followed me there .. became mods and a war ensued over the stickies and pretty much everything else .. making it clear to me that the goal was for me to resign as a mod .. which i did .. then posts were next in line
seems utterly absurd .. but who knows maybe there is order in chaos .. i just can't be bothered putting in the time on a board that's a war zone
I hadn't run into many problems with the new system until the other day when a paid promotion began in earnest on one of the stocks whose board I mod.
... And somehow you managed to remain a mod? Fared way better than me on the promotional boards. They just plain got me booted...it's called the promoters "BOOT to head".
your idea is the best i have read so far. one sticky to each moderator. increase the stickies to 6 or decrease the mods to 4. when a moderator resigns or is removed, so is the sticky if they had one posted.
one other idea, get rid of the iboxes on stock specific boards. the first thing i do when i go to a stock specific board, is shut the ibox. traders are supposed to do their own dd, last i knew.
