Newt Gingrich made a strategic decision - he would not get into the gutter at the debate last night but act like the front-runner and let Mitt Romney's tax returns for 2010 and 2011 be the headlines today (Tuesday). Newt achieved his goal.
Mitt's returns will be grist for the mill for reporters for a few days - details of his returns will be discussed with reporters at 8:30am today...Romney's $42 million income for 2 years and low tax rate he paid will be in the headlines at least until the next GOP debate - Thursday.
