I asked The same question to Mr. Luciano Borges A while back. Here is A copy and paist of that email.

Hello Mr Brorges and welcome to the position of president of Ardent mines. I am A investor in Ardent mines and it is A large portion of my portfolio. I am A bit concerned about the recent stock price decline. I am wondering if you could tell me anything? A little update on how things are going would be great. Or even just A oppion of how you feel things will be going?

Thank you for your time.

Dear Mr. ----

As you may know, the company has just passed through a management change, with the resignation of the former CEO, in spite of that, all assets remained untouched and there wasn´t any changes in the management, scope and objectives of the two projects we have in Brazil. So, I can´t identify any material reason for the decline on the stocks.

Best regards,

My reply to you now Hondaboost (thank you)in my best guess I would personally say it probably stems from A host of things. Remembering that things can move very fast with such A small float.
Some got alot of shares really cheap before the last run up.
Some made big prophets selling
some fear based selling
some may have been selling to just get there pay
Now some selling of near free shares for chump change/lunch money
I think the selling will end and we will see financincing along with new board members coming to the company. But big bussiness takes time. All just my oppinion of coarse. GLTUA

Heres A good reason why the selling and drop in price.IMO only!
May also be A good reason for A quiet period.
LEGAL PROCEEDINGS.

As previously disclosed in the Company’s periodic reports, on May 10, 2011, we filed a Complaint with the Supreme Court of the State of New York. The action pertains to disputed rights of ownership among certain shareholders of the Company. As of as of the date of this Report, the defendants have not made any counterclaims against the Company and no hearings have taken place.
