yep. if you are going to throw on first, in the 4th qtr and later, you cannot run on second and leave 3rd and long. giants had a very strong rush and yet no screens were thrown. 49 defense kept holding and the offense would go 3 and out and give the ball right back. thought it was a very sloppy game on both sides. the giants sure as hell did not play a great game either. looks like smith has finally found a system he can do well in. now they should get him a few targets to get the ball to. good season for sf...
