A poster on here haggled Shiva a bit on the Conference Call about a third install. Now the way he answered at the end of the question, with slight anger, now THAT was the truth.

I believe there are other hotels that are waiting to see if the projected revenues can be reached before they sign on.
I'm also betting that they want to ensure that Shiva can get a great team together to make these installs as efficient as possible. These companies don't want some entrepreneur who only has concepts and no practical ability to run his company.

I thought the third hotel was in New York?

Also, as far as their "announcements" go. They hired Roger Sverdlik months ago and they haven't informed us of that. I can't get Steve to tell me if Roger is helping him, of if he's in Omaha or New York. The only other address I have for Roger is Pittsburgh, but Tivus isn't there.

I think that it is possible that the reason this recent sales guy was brought on was to replace Phil Marriott.

Now the reason for the need to replace him is difficult to discern. After all, we have all supposed the vale his namesake brought to be very important. Maybe it was not. Or, maybe it was buy is no more, i.e now that there is a Host/Marriott contract. Maybe the Marriott name has served its purpose. Maybe Phil is a poor/unproductive salesman. This new fellow has quite a resume.

I really do not think that Marriotts are with the company anymore, and so I am trying to speculate in a way that makes the most sense of that purported fact.

Notice SH said that the Marriotts did not abandon Tivus. That would be consistent with them being let go. Then again, the story SH offered for a hypothetical departure by them was nonsense. It made it seem like a stretch of a cover up. Of course if SH is trying to preserve a semblance of a Bid then he might be trying to cover yo their departure irrespective of their having been fired ( rather than their resigning).

Think about the limited funds for salaries that there is right now. Perhaps SP had to give them the ax, and put the new sales guy in for that reason.
