When an airline planes falls for a pilots irresponsability, SP might go down a bitm, but the whole airlines doesnt go bankrupt. Same applies. One accident, fix it, and business as usual in a while.
Of course they are liable as it was a CCL ship. However the extent of the liability is limited by the terms of the cruise ticket - and it wasn't their attorney that said that.
CCL will not go down with the Concordia. Watch that website that I posted and watch live as cruise ships leave Port Everglades with thousands of people on board.
I think that there will be changes in safety/emergency procedures but the changes will hardly effect the bottom line.
