Ha, my home network/teater is preium, heck my cell phone is a freaking remote control for my entertainment center, I have top end gaming rigs hooked up to projectors and my flats.
I still use te cable on demand content more than even my netflix stream...
Mostly because it just sucks to filter out so much bs, when the easy stuff is right there on the box already.
Really, no mater how much content, most people I know even the super tech savvys one still use the cable or sat box for the media in the living room, unless its a blu ray. But most content, cable boxed still.
Sure there is rev, but most of the youtube places are fails, with bad content, too much content, and pointless content.
Netflix is okay, but streaming content is horrible, plus how errors and tech bs.
Most people rather just cable box it trust me.
YOD is the winner, even in USA if you can cable box it most people would do that before going online, or torrents.
People used to say people wouldnt pay for music when napster was around.
Also... YOD is the HBO basicaly of CHina as far as movies and content its premium.
in fact Warner bros used to run HBO ... so I guess history repeated itself in China
