Banff is beautiful......drive north to Jasper park if you have time. Wonderful glaciers roadside. You just missed the Calgary Stampede....lotsa fun for wild womens on the "loose" <gg>
Well girlfriend if you venture down into w. Washington give me a PM and I'll cook you and your friends a really good meal...I'll be goin' crabbin Thurs. and they are mighty fine, have a nice trip. Oh, contrare to your belief, I don't bite, at least, not very hard. LOL If I do, it's your fault. :>)
Near Banff is Emerald Lake. Try to stop there it's beautiful as is Lake Louise. We tried to get a reservation at Emerald Lake w/o success . Also don't forget the ice fields above Banff. Check out the golf course in Banff with the Elk grazing on the fairways. Great area but it's a shame you missed the Stampede. Have a good trip.
