Intel to build 2nd Israeli plant

This story may be true, but what kind of "plant"?

It would seem strange to announce two new fabs in
quick succession.


Because, I just got the word, that intel is about to announce this morning, that the location for intel's next 300mm Fab is.....

Heh, I guess Intel can save money there. Instead of
oxidation ovens the fab only needs some skylights. :-P

That's great news for the Chandler campus! In spite of the heat these days, it's a good site at which to work, IMO.
