zit -- somehow you manage to be unclear on a most obvious concept/situation

Matt wasn't the one who decided that you should be banned from this board -- I mean, come on, zit, what could possibly make you think that he would be the one to come up with that particular a sanction or condition in dealing with you, in particular given that your recent trouble was not a function of anything you posted here? -- and as well, neither of the two you have elsewhere been repeatedly attacking personally in your trademark inane, crude and projection-laden manner had anything to do with it either

I made the decision that you should be banned from this board -- as a practical matter, because this is now a Free Board (a Premium Board moderator literally has an icon to click to implement a ban of any member who has posted on the board, but a Free Board moderator doesn't), I had to request and receive Matt's agreement to implement the ban -- I made that request, and he granted it

you openly acknowledge my not inconsiderable past efforts to work with you in hope of encouraging you, subject only to my clearly stated and entirely reasonable and straightforward rules, to post here your own point of view/supporting material regarding any matter great or small of interest to you -- and my decision to (request that Matt implement a) ban (of) you now had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with your now or ever holding or thus expressing/supporting your own point of view on any such matter

I do not regularly spend any of my time keeping tabs on your exploits beyond this board -- but I am indeed entitled to, and as it happens I did, take notice of your posts elsewhere -- as moderator here, I think I can fairly claim that I have proven to be at least somewhat patient -- and once I had seen one of your recent posts elsewhere on iHub that I found interesting and had then simply out of curiosity begun taking a look at your other recent posts elsewhere on iHub in context, I was initially more bemused than anything else by what I saw -- but then I found personal comments you'd made that just cut it -- way over the line, way out into 'life is too short' territory -- that was precisely when, and those comments of yours were precisely and solely why, I decided, both very reasonably and entirely within the scope of the full Premium Board moderator's power and discretion that by agreement with Matt I retained when he granted my request to make this a Free Board again (which, as you'll recall, was a request I pursued so that, among other things, you specifically could rejoin the discussion here), that I don't want to see you around here anymore

so don't go running around crying 'free speech' or blaming anyone but yourself for the fact that you are now banned from this board -- you and you alone are responsible for your behavior, and for this result of your behavior -- period

if you've got the character to take responsibility for your behavior, then you may reply to this post with an apology to the two you've been personally attacking and a promise that you will immediately cease and from now on refrain from all such personal attacks, here and elsewhere -- in which case, provided you've also posted that same apology and promise on Zeev's Politics, and for so long as you keep that promise, I will (ask/advise Matt to) reinstate your posting privileges on this board (and don't worry, I'm not holding my breath) -- otherwise, well . . . as you say, 'seeya!'
