I tend to disagree and feel the PR is based on the day it was written. The word production could be in reference to producing processed and sell-able material.
It appears that the pile of black sands have not been processed and have generated no revenue. I believe the company does not consider themselves as a production company until processing is occurring and gold is being sold.
Odds are they are piling dirt waiting for processing and still exploring the concessions for the best concentrations. Once the processing equipment is installed and set up than they will separate the material and begin the process of generating revenues.
I cannot find it plausible to believe they would write a PR that is materially false. To state what they did without giving an indication that the statements are not accurate to the date it was published would be a materially false PR.
